Nuctech participated in the drafting of Radiation Protection Instruments – Spectral Identification System for Liquids in Transparent Containers

Recently, IEC 63085:2021 Radiation protection instrumentation – System of spectral identification of liquids in transparent and transparent vessels was jointly drafted by experts from China, Germany, Japan, the United States and Russia Semitransparent containers (Raman systems) IEC international standards were officially released for implementation. Wang Hongqiu, general manager of Forensic Technology under Nuctech, participated in the drafting work as a Chinese technical expert, which is the fourth international standard that Nuctech participated in drafting.

news-1

This international standard has been established in 2016, and after nearly 5 years of drafting, soliciting opinions and reviewing, it stipulates the functions, performance and hardware mechanical stability requirements and test methods of Raman spectroscopy instruments used in liquid detection. The release of this international standard will fill the gap in the EMC international standard in Raman spectroscopic liquid detection technology, and be suitable for Raman application in the field of liquid safety, pharmaceutical solution and other liquid chemical analysis, which is of great significance to the development of Raman detection technology in China.

JINSP originated from the "Tsinghua University Safety Detection Technology Research Institute" jointly established by Nuctech and Tsinghua University, which is an equipment supplier with spectral detection technology as the core, and its products have been widely used in anti-smuggling and anti-drug, liquid security inspection, food safety, chemical and pharmaceutical and many other fields. After more than 10 years of research and development, Forensic Technology has independent intellectual property rights in the field of Raman spectroscopy technology, applied for more than 200 related patents, and related scientific and technological achievements have reached the international leading level identified by the Ministry of Education, and have won the China Patent Excellence Award.

[About International Standards]
International standards refer to the standards formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), as well as other international organizations recognized and published by the International Organization for Standardization, which are uniformly used worldwide and have strong authority.
